WHAT ARE HD BROWS?
A branded tinting & grooming service using high end, quality products
STEP 1. Preparation, Sensitivity & Patch Testing
A patch test is required 48 hours before your first treatment, where you are having a tint applied. In future, this only needs to be repeated if you have a 6 month period where you don’t come into contact with PPD (the tinting ingredient in HD Brow Dyes). This Ingredient is also found in box hair dyes.
STEP 2. Consultation
Every HD Brows treatment starts with a consultation to establish the style of brow you'd like to achieve, through from colour and shape, neat & defined to brushed up. We create your bespoke design by taking into account your face shape, skin tone and bone structure.
STEP 3. Tinting
After cleansing the brow area, we create a custom tint for you. There is nothing standard about this treatment!We apply the tint all over the brow area which picks up the tiny vellus "peach skin" hairs that you wouldn't ordinarily notice. This can give us more to play with when creating your ideal shape.
We don't have to tint the brows darker if that's not your goal; we can just dye the vellus hair to match your existing brow hair to enhance your shape.
STEP 4. Waxing
Our HD Wax has an exclusive formula which makes it extra gentle yet effective even on sensitive skin.
We will start to create you dream brow shape, incorporating the tiny hairs which we have tinted, bearing in mind the areas where you may want to re grow hairs.
STEP 5. Threading
Not everybody needs this step, We don’t use threading to design the shape of the brow as wax is the most effective and pain free method. We use threading to remove any fair or fine hairs that we don’t want to use in the brow shape. This also blends away any tell-tale wax lines for people with more vellus hair. It ensures a nice clean platform for make up application.
STEP 6. Tweezing & Perfecting
We want your brows to be perfect. Now we've created your ideal shape, this step creates that super sleek finish. We will tweeze and trim any stray or unruly hairs, and create a finish that suits your style. Where you have areas where you'd like to regrow your hair, we will create you hairstrokes with our pro pencil and finish brows with a suitable styling product.
STEP 7. Aftercare
We will guide you on how to get the best of your brows. If you'd like to maintain the appearance of your fresh brows in between appointments, we can show you the styling products we have used and how to re create the look at home.
