We do piercings from the waist up. We do not offer tongue or dermal piercings. Whilst we can do them, we don't enjoy doing them! These treatments may be available on piercing model dates, dependent on whether the student wishes to learn them.

INFO & AFTERCARE

We use implant grade titanium jewellery for all initial piercings. Gold and Silver are unsuitable and may lead to irritation
We will only pierce using our own jewellery as we know it originated in the UK and it has been sterilised prior to your arrival.
All of our instruments are cleaned and sterilised in house so that we are sure they meet our high hygiene standards.
In the unlikely event that you have a problem with your piercing, please refer to the aftercare advice which you were given at your appointment. Keep your piercing clean and protected.
If you need further support, please refer to our Blog, "Piercing Problems" which will help you identify what the issue is and how best to care for it.
Once you leave the clinic, you are responsible for keeping your piercing(s) clean and free from harm. We will provide you with all the information that you require before you leave
For cleaning, you can use a home made salt wash or mild antiseptic spray eg savlon Woundwash, Dettol Wound Spray.
Healing Times
Ear Lobe Piercings- generally OK to change after 6 weeks but do keep something in the all the time as they will quickly start to heal up! ANY piercing takes a good year or so to fully heal. Leaving them alone is the best thing to do; constantly changing them will aggrovate the healing skin.
Cartilage piercings such as Helix, Tragus, Rook Conch, Daith, Snug, Orbital, Scaffold, Flat, Shen Men, Forward Helix. and nose piercings will take a good year or more to fully heal. As a rule of thumb, if you can fiddle with it and it's not sore and you can move the jewellery easily with no resistance from the skin, this is a good indicator that your ear will be happy for you to change your jewellery.
If you knock it, expect it to be sore!

Children's ear piercing. There is no lower legal age limit and whilst we believe it is a decision for the family to make, we will not hold down a child to pierce them- they must want the piercing doing.
Likewise, with babies we ask that they are at least a few months old so that they have an immune system if they were to get bacteria into their piercing later down the line; also the ears can be quite close to the head on newborns, making them difficult to hold. Some older babies can be very wriggly and sometimes this makes it unsafe to clamp and put a needle through the ear. We want to get the placement perfect so it is important that your child is still (we recommend bringing 2 people with smaller babies so you can hold them on your knee)
You know your child best so we leave it to you to determine when the time is right. We do reserve the right to refuse to do a piercing if there will be a risk to the health & safety of anyone in the room.
