THE SCIENCE BEHIND THE TECHNOLOGY
HOW FAT CELLS WORK
Have you ever wondered why, once you have put on weight it is very difficult to keep it off?
​
Once fat cells expand to capacity, they divide into 4 and grow until they too, reach capacity. The cycle continues.
​
Diet and exercise can shrink these cells to back their minimum size, but once multiplied, the increased number of fat cells remain there waiting to expand again, like empty containers in a fridge.
​
This is why you can "YoYo diet" or quickly "put size back on".
The 3D technology breaks down the cells so that they are not just reduced in size, but permanently removed from the body; breaking the cycle and giving you great results.

WHAT ARE MY TREATMENT OPTIONS AND HOW DO THEY WORK?
Using Fat Freeze (Cryolipolysis), Ultrasound (Cavitation) or Radio Frequency (RF) technologies, our 3D Lipo treatments target the fat cells and break them down. Each technology works in a different way, but ultimately the fat cells are removed from your body via the lymphatic and excretory system, leading to permanent cell reduction. This breaks the cell expansion cycle and leaves you feeling great!

THE TECHNOLOGIES
CRYOLIPOLYSIS (3D FAT FREEZE)
Ideal for stubborn superficial "pouches" of fat, for example those which won't budge however much work you do at the gym.
Using the unique combination of electro and cryo therapy, fat cells are frozen to minus 5 degrees, causing Apopsis, or "fat cell death."
20-40% of the fat cells in the treated area die in a natural way and dissolve over a period of three months. They are flushed out of the body via the excretory system.
The same area can only be treated once every 12 weeks as a minimum, as it takes 12 weeks to fully naturally break down and remove fat cells in the treated area. This can be fast tracked to 6 weeks, if immediately followed by a shockwave treatment.

Pain free, No downtime. Can cause temporary desensitisation of the skin or bruising in the treatment area.

Two parts of an area eg. both thighs can be treated simultaneously.

3D CAVITATION
Excellent for deeper fat removal and circumference reduction.​
The ultrasound waves vibrate at a frequency attuned to the fat cels, rupturing the cell membranes and letting the lipids flow out into the surrounding fluids. This is passed out through the excretory system.
Can be used over large areas. An immediate difference can be seen however full results are not visible until a few weeks later- this is a treatment which keeps on working!

RADIO FREQUENCY SKIN TIGHTENING
Ideal for tightening "double chins" and tightening sagging skin eg. following childbirth. It is also an effective anti cellulite treatment.
Focus Fractional RF is the 3rd generation of RF technology,combined with red photodynamic energy which delivers RF energy under the skin in a controlled manner, heating the skin and extra cellular matrix where the collagen fibres are embedded. This local heating to 40 degrees causes an immediate contraction in the collagen fibres, whilst increasing the metabolism of fibroblasts; accelerating the production of new collagen and elastin fibres. This tightens the skin layers, creating smoother, tighter and healthier looking skin.

When used for body contouring and cellulite reduction, fat cell metabolism is increased, releasing the liquid fat from fat cells which cause these cells to shrink; reducing or even eliminating the appearance of cellulite.

3D SHOCKWAVE TREATMENT
Excellent for fat removal and cellulite reduction. It sounds scary, but it's painless (in fact it tickles a bit)

High energy radial shockwaves squeeze the surrounding tissues and break down the grid structure of the fat molecules, stimulating collagen synthesis and lymphatic drainage. The tensile waves cause a collapse and re expansion of the gas bubbles within the fat cells, destabilising them.
The acoustic waves cause disruption to the sclerotic fibrous tissue septae, which is responsible for the appearance of cellulite. The treatment is clinically proven to smooth the skins surface and create an increased lifting and firmness of the skin.

Aftercare is simple- drink 2 litres of water a day
Where a freeze treatment has been undertaken, avoid heat on the area for 48 hours

We always recommend a healthy diet and light exercise if you are able, to give you optimal results; although we do have clients who use these treatments as a weight management facility for various reasons.
